Thoughts on finances

I attended Awakening Church's Thron Conference last year, and since then, the Lord has unlocked some things in me.

The one I want to talk to you about today concerns finances. In a moment of prayer, they prayed for me about induced guilt, to break the lies, and the Lord began to move.

Are you familiar with Kris Vallotton's book, The Supernatural Ways for Royality?

It talks, in short, about how we need to change our poverty mentality and walk as the children of God that we are.

Since that moment at the Thron Conference, the Lord has been moving something in me in this direction.

Here are two examples:

1) We were at a restaurant with a voucher already paid for. I was panicking because I was afraid the voucher wouldn't be enough, and two people had to reassure me. At that moment, I noticed how this mentality was preventing me from enjoying the moment and the gift I had received. Thank God, I was able to get back to the good experience and guess what... there was even some money left over from the coupon! Even though we had ordered what we wanted, praise the Lord! 🙌😃🥰

2) When I go grocery shopping with my partner, if I notice the general price starting to go up compared to what I would pay, I start to panic, even though I'm not the one paying. For the first time, however, last week, the Lord helped me relax. I felt His sovereignty, like a good heaviness, making me breathe, and as it did, I felt my body relaxing and my thoughts calming. Thank you, Jesus! 🙌💖

So those prayers definitely worked, and the Lord is moving! 🙌😃

I hope this brief testimony can be of encouragement to you: the Lord wants to free us even from certain mentalities!

May the Lord gain and conquer the ground in your heart where there is a thought that goes against the abundant life He paid for, on the cross, to give you. In Jesus' name, amen! 🙌
