When God says No

Recently I had a job interview. I had applied to be a part-time dishwasher, and during the interview, I was told that they were hiring me as a waitress do-it-all and that I would cover shifts where they were uncovered.
I was told they were like a family, that there are no hierarchies, they help each other, and that I was starting my trial period. He asked me if I was free that Saturday to start, and I replied that I would let him know after checking my calendar.
I already had an appointment that Saturday and I told him, but I received no response. From how the interview went, I thought we had agreed that they would call me when they needed it. Although the idea of it being an on-call job didn't appeal to me, since I like to plan ahead.
In fact, in a vision, the Lord showed me to tell him in person. I hoped to do it when they called me, but after two weeks, I forced myself to go, as God was showing me.
A small note before continuing:
The Lord continued to show me, in a vision, when I passed this restaurant: "crossroads" and "new direction." But I didn't understand what He was referring to.
I showed up at the restaurant, they made me wait in a separate room off and when the boss arrived, he seemed very nervous and agitated. Automatically, I asked him if we had agreed upon the terms in the interview, and he immediately stopped me. He told me that since he found out I couldn't work that Saturday, he thought our agreement was over.
I felt the anger rising because of the injustice, but thank God, I managed to control myself. I asked him how he expected me to be free that day, the same week as the interview. I might have been busy, and if he thought the deal was over, he could have told me. He replied that he immediately understood what kind of relationship we would have, that he is willing to hire anyone who agrees to come immediately, and that I had to understand him because he has a restaurant to run.
In short, he treated me as if I had no value in his eyes. As a dear friend of mine made me realize, he was looking for a doormat who would be completely at his disposal. Were is the "we are family"? Were is the lack of hierarchy?
In fact, that same day, the Lord had given me a dream, but I hadn't understood its meaning. I asked the Lord if I should ask for help with the interpretation, but I felt I would understand it. Indeed, at the end of the day, I understood; God was warning me and helping me.
In the dream, I saw my former co-workers and we talked about how they were a family [in reality, I didn't experience it as such, and that wasn't true for this case either]. Then the lynxes arrived, they wanted to attack us. In a vision, I saw the Lord telling me what to do, e.g., "Get down!" And as I obeyed, the lynx fails to catch me. Finally, I ascend to a high place and manage to join in a conversation by saying that prophecy is important, because in case of danger, you know that God isn't finished with you yet because He has a promise to fulfill.
In fact, this year the Lord has shown me that it will be my last year of unemployment. So even though it hurt, I trust that the fork in the road and the new direction were meant to restore my faith that God will provide a job for me this year. Without deception and without added pain. Choosing something out of fear is not in God's plan, and since He is the one who said I will have a job, it will happen in a way that will glorify Him.
So, if you too are waiting for a promise from the Lord, I want to remind you that God's timing is the best.
May the Lord bless you, encourage you, and restore you. May the Lord remind you that what He has in store for you is far better than you think, because He loves you and you have immense value in His eyes. God bless you with this, in Jesus' name, amen! 🙌💖
Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.
Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
Habakkuk 2:2-3
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
