A modern princess

a real fairy tale

Not so long ago, there was a little girl who had a grandmother who liked to take care of herself. The grandmother had a wonderful dressing table with mirror, where she could put on makeup and perfume. The little girl was observing her, enchanted, and saw her beautiful, both inside and out. In everything she did, she was wonderful: from her singing, to her fairy tales and especially in loving others.

She also had another grandmother, who was a seamstress and who liked to make doilies. Once she had made her a pink dress and the little girl liked it a lot. She found the idea of ​​being able to make her own clothes interesting.

Since she was little, she had liked clothes. In fact her eyes would light up when she saw the outfits of her favorite dolls. As she grew up, our now young teenager, continued to find the field of fashion fascinating and enjoyed designing clothes, especially redesigning the ones that she liked.

In middle school she discovered that, a girl from her area, had been noticed by a famous designer for the dress she was wearing, made by her. After this, she was hired to create new clothes under his brand. This story gave her hope. When she had the opportunity to look for other schools, she was struck by the tailoring school. It was all so fascinating! In particular, she was well impressed by a dress made with fake grapes, because it seemed that all fantasy could become reality! 😃

Since at the time she couldn't choose for herself, she did something different. Many years later, as a young adult, a well-known christian revivalist, in a moment of prayer for young people, prayed also for her and for her style of clothing. For what the Lord wanted to do through it: bring others closer to Him. Shortly after, a girl who had come from far away also told her that God would touch women with the way she dressed. Of course, our girl was happy to hear this, it was like a dream that would come true. Yet things didn't seem to change at the time.

One day she saw a movie about the story of a designer who, from scratch, managed to create her own brand. She felt as if the Lord wanted to encourage her that everything was, is, possible with Him.

She began to see the logo of this designer often in vision. During that period, she was given a T-shirt (not authentic) with that logo, by someone who didn't know about it. They had never given her a gift like that, before or after. A true divine coincidence!😃 This fueled her hope about what God wanted to do in her.

Over the years, she occasionally enjoyed experimenting: she used needle and thread on paper, along with some beads. Sometimes she also tried to attach fabric to paper.

When she discovered a TV series inspired by a true story, about a girl who from "nothing" had managed to become a fashion entrepreneur, she was immediately struck by it. So much so that she bought her book. She watched that TV series several times because it inspired her and gave her hope. A few years later, at a Christmas event with the youth of the church, she received a surprise. The gift had to be exchanged with someone you didn't know, so our girl was given an object that, because of its particular shape, reminded her of a scene from that TV series that inspired her so much. This made her smile and she felt seen by God and had hope.

God is faithful.

Among the last inspirations, before arriving at the conclusion of this story, there was a poor princess, in a movie, who created clothes with her old clothes put together. She found it a very original idea.😃

Then God gave her an idea: to create encouraging dolls. By modifying existing dolls and creating clothes for them. She was very excited about it. But it had been "ages" since she had touched a sewing machine.

One day, she felt that the Lord was encouraging her to talk about it with her younger brother. The prince, out of the blue, gave her his sewing machine. She was very grateful, it was another God-incidence.

In the meantime, our princess had understood why God was showing her the logo of the designer and the partner he had given her: because the Lord had given him a heart to encourage her and help her realize the dreams that God had given her.💖

A relative of the princess helped her understand how the sewing machine that had been given to her worked. A few months later, our girl saw an encouragement on the internet: try sewing without worrying about the result, but having fun. This inspired her not to be held back by perfectionism but to proceed, to try, discover and make mistakes. Understanding the joy of it.

So she rode that wave and began to assemble a top cut from an old jacket of hers. Thrilled by God's faithfulness. Unfortunately, however, that same day the sewing machine stopped. Neither the relative nor her beloved could fix it, it had really reached its end. But God already had a solution: she was lent a sewing machine and received instructions about it. So the princess was able to continue experimenting and finish her first top. The day before her birthday, in a supermarket, she saw a sewing machine on sale and the princess wondered if she should buy it. She didn't and, wondering when she could buy a good quality one, she became discouraged. But then she thanked the Lord for the opportunity to have a sewing machine at her disposal.

In conclusion, she spent her birthday testing it. The next day, as a gift, she received a sewing machine! She was so happy and she remembered again that God works in a Wonderful way and really exceeds our expectations!😃 In fact, she was also given a lesson on her sewing machine and, from a precious friend of hers, two hours of tailoring. God is so good and faithful!😃💖🫶
